PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure ease of construction of a ridge ventilating member while increasing degrees of freedom for the construction of the ridge ventilating member on a roof by making it possible to securely support a rafter and continuously adjust the height of a rafter support member. SOLUTION: The fixture is used for supporting a variety of ridge ventilating members (rafter E3 in particular) constructed on the top of a roof E1 and includes a cover plate 20 secured to the roof E1 across a ridge E4, and the rafter support member 30 placed upright at the top of the cover plate 20. The rafter support member 30 comprises a nut member 31 attached to the top of the cover plate 20, a spiral rod 32 vertically movably and threadedly attached to the nut member 31, and an U-shaped fitting 33 secured to the top of the spiral rod 32 for supporting the rafter E3. The nut member 31 is attached to the top plate 21a of the cover plate 20 in such a manner as to be rotatable about its own axis.
