PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering damper device, which can minimize steering inertia and has large degree of freedom of mounting. SOLUTION: This steering damper 10 is fixed on the front face of a head pipe 13, and connected to a projection 20 that is formed at the front part of a top bridge 11 with a link arm 22. The top end 22 of the link arm 22 is fitted with a ball joint 21 of the projection 20, and the bottom end 24 thereof is integrated with a shaft 28 installed inside the steering damper 10. The shaft 28 is further integrated with a partition wall, which rocks in a liquid chamber of the steering damper 10. When a steering shaft 14 supported by the head pipe 13 is rotated, the rotation movement is transferred to the shaft 28 via the top bridge 11, the projection 20, the ball joint 21, and the link arm 22. Then the partition wall rocks in the liquid chamber to generate a damping force, thereby preventing kickback.
