PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additional recording type optical recording medium capable of good recording and regeneration by leaser beams 300-500 nm and/or 500-700 nm and/or 700-900 nm in wavelength and coloring matter for additional recording type optical recording. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium, at least one compound is selected from azaporphyrin compounds in which a central metal is coordinated with two azaporphyrin rings to be incorporated in a recording layer.
