PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated gas sensor element in which the generation of the warp of itself is small, whose exfoliation, crack or the like is not generated in its use and whose durability is high and to provide a gas sensor which is equipped with the gas sensor element and whose durability is high. SOLUTION: An alumina powder, a zirconia powder, a binder resin and a solvent are used, a slurry is prepared, and an unburnt sheet for a substrate is manufactured by a doctor blade method. On the other hand, the same ceramic raw material powder is used, and an unburnt sheet for a protective layer in which the binder amount per unit surface area of the ceramic raw material powder is identical is manufactured. While an unburnt body for a solid electrolyte body is sandwiched, the unburnt sheet for the substrate as dense and insulating substrate after its burning is stacked on one side, the unburnt sheet for the protective layer used as a porous and insulating protective layer after its burning is stacked on the other side, and an obtained laminated body is burned integrally. |
