摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately execute fuel injection control in a transition from a homogeneous combustion area to a stratified combustion area through a fuel cut area. SOLUTION: In a control system for a spark ignition type direct injection engine provided with a fuel injection valve 18 directly injecting fuel into a combustion chamber and reducing fuel pressure according to fuel injection, and executing fuel cut control in a designated operation area, base fuel pressure corresponding to engine speed is established and a fuel pressure control means 53 establishing a control target value of fuel pressure by correcting the base fuel pressure according to a cylinder inside temperature state when the engine transits from the homogeneous combustion area to the stratified combustion area through the fuel cut area is provided.
