PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional refrigerating and air conditioning device where pressure loss reduction effect by a bypass circuit cannot be sufficiently utilized when a high load is applied because a compressor is operated with large capacity while the bypass circuit is closed, dew condensation occurs easily in a blower due to the reduction of capability caused by pressure loss and temperature unevenness generated in an evaporator, refrigerating cycle performance becomes unstable, and the service life of an opening and closing valve is shortened. SOLUTION: A refrigerating and air conditioning device according to this invention is constituted by connecting compressor, a condenser, a pressure reduction device, a gas-liquid separator, and the evaporator sequentially in refrigerant piping to constitute a refrigerating cycle, and provided with the bypass circuit for leading gas refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separator into the refrigerant piping on the downstream side of the evaporator. A difference between set room temperature and indoor suction air temperature is detected, and a solenoid valve in the bypass circuit is opened, closed, and controlled by corresponding to the difference.
