PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic resin composition exhibiting excellent antistatic performance over a long period of time, and excellent in mechanical strength and thermal properties as well. SOLUTION: This antistatic resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin, 0.1 to 20 pts.wt. of a phyllosilicate, and 0.1 to 20 pts.wt. of an antistatic agent, wherein the phyllosilicate is dispersed in a platelet state apparently having 5 to 50 nm thickness and 500 nm or longer length which is formed by piling of at least a part of single layers constituting the layered crystal of the phyllosilicate mutually lying one upon another with a deviated center of the each single layer.
