PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of writing an image at an appropriate position by correcting misregistration of an image write position caused by a difference of expansion/contraction amounts of a printing plate, a rotary support and a mechanism part moving a recording head or the like. SOLUTION: A temperature 1 near a rotary drum 16 outputted from a temperature sensor 40 is acquired in a step S10 and a temperature 2 near a shaft 48 outputted from a temperature sensor 42 is acquired in a step S21. An inputted printing plate size is acquired in a step S14 and a correction amount for correcting the image write position to P is acquired from a correction table 66 on the basis of the acquired temperature 1, temperature 2 and printing plate size in a step S16. In a step S18, the acquired correction amount, that is a correction driving pulse number, is outputted to a driving motor 58.
