PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor in which a disk for oil separation is small and lightweight, and can be easily attached by inexpensive members. SOLUTION: In the rotary compressor 100 having a rotary compression mechanism unit C and a motor mechanism unit M to give the rotational force to the compression mechanism unit C via a rotary shaft 4, a large number of rotary core sheets 3A constituting a rotor 3, an upper holding member 14 thereon, a lower holding member 15 thereunder (not shown), and a plate-like mass balance member 16 on the upper holding member 14, and a rotor upper end plate-like member 20 thereon are tightened by a connecting and fixing means 21 and integrated with each other, and the disk 17 for oil separation is horizontally fitted to the rotor upper end plate-like member 20 by blind rivets 22.
