PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact displacement type pump of a simple structure which can suck and forcibly feed a gas and a liquid. SOLUTION: This displacement type pump comprises a casing and a rotor accommodated in a cavity of the casing, the rotor has an oscillating bulkhead in which a base end part or a part close to the base end part is oscillated with an oscillation pivotally supported part formed on or in the vicinity of a circumferential edge of the rotor as a center of oscillation, and a tip part is slidably abutted on an inner circumferential surface of the cavity when the rotor is rotated. An intake port and a discharge port communicated with the cavity are formed in the casing, and the rotor is disposed in the cavity so as to form a shut-off part between the intake port and the discharge port, and the position of the tip part of the oscillating bulkhead abutted on the inner circumferential surface of the cavity is located forward of the imaginary extension line to connect the center of rotation of the rotor to the center of the oscillation pivotally supported part.
