PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl chloride-based resin that is produced by a process which facilitates dispersing an inorganic substance in a vinyl chloride resin in introducing the inorganic substance into the vinyl chloride resin to thereby produce a vinyl chloride-based resin having good properties such as mechanical strength, heat resistance or the like and that can be produced by a simple process as well. SOLUTION: The inorganic substance-containing polyvinyl chloride-based resin is produced by blending a resin-adhered inorganic substance produced by carrying around (A) an inorganic substance (B) a resin comprising as the main component a thermoplastic resin produced by radical polymerization into (C) a vinyl chloride-based resin (provided that a vinyl chloride grafted onto an acrylic resin is excluded).
