PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated granular fertilizer capable of persistent elution for a long time than before with a smaller amount of a coating material by improved elution retarding effect, and to provide an industrially and advantageously manufacturing method of the coated granular fertilizer. SOLUTION: The granular fertilizer is coated with a layer of a hydrophobic compound, a layer of a thermosetting resin, a layer of a hydrophobic compound, and a layer of a thermosetting resin, in order the same as above described from inside toward outside into the granular fertilizer coated with multiple layers, and the method of manufacturing the granular fertilizer coated with multiple layers.
