PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video image display device of head position tacking type by which a viewer can reduce the opportunity of recognizing moire and crosstalk at switching. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video image display device of head position tacking type 1 is configured to separate a video image with binocular parallax and to switch and display left right eye video image depending on the position of the viewer so as to respectively lead the video image to the right eye and the left eye of the viewer. The fundamental normal and reverse vision areas decided on the design exist in the display device 1. The left/right eye video images are selected and displayed ahead of a border line between the normal and reverse vision areas with respect to the viewer approaching the border line.
