摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized brake device and a hoist. SOLUTION: A rotary frame 49 is supported to be freely rotational through a bearing 50 by a shaft 45 integrally formed with a stationary frame 46, and a brake wheel 53 is integrally formed protrusively to the outer peripheral side of the rotary frame 49. A pair of brake arms 56 are rotationally supported on the stationary frame 46 through a rotational shaft 55. A brake pad 59 coming into contact with the brake wheel 53 or separating from it is provided at one end of the brake arm 56, and a brake shaft 67 is connected to the other end of the brake arm 56. Further, a brake spring 57 imparting a braking force to the brake pad 59 and an electromagnet 58 releasing the braking force of the brake spring 57 are respectively installed. The center of the rotational shaft 55 is used as the fulcrum, the contact centers (a), (b) of the brake pad 59 with the brake wheel 5 are used as point of application, and the connecting parts (c), (d) of the brake arm 56 and the brake shaft 67 are used as power point. The fulcrum, the points, of application, and the power point are positioned under the horizontal center line of the brake wheel 53.</p>
