摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam follower which enhances mechanical strength (bounce speed of rotation) and improves the reliability of an engine. SOLUTION: A fillet R14 is provided on the boundary part between a shaft part 7 and a thrust part 8 in the manner of releasing toward the shaft part 7 side. Thus the sitting follow-up performance to a valve lifter 3 of the cam follower 4 is improved at the time of operation, and further, a stress concentration part due to bending load to the cam follower 4 can be stabilized on the curved surface part of the fillet R14, so that mechanical strength is enhanced compared to the cam follower having a conventional filler R with a uniform radius of curvature and non-release, and the reliability of an engine is improved.
