摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creep damage evaluation method in which creep damages of base material parts of heat resisting steels used in high temperature devices, and welding heat-affected zones of welding joints or the like can be evaluated accurately in a short time. SOLUTION: In the creep damage evaluation method for base materials or welding heat-affected zones of high strength and heat resisting steels used in high temperature devices, the behavior of a grain size change based on a creep damage passage of the grain size of crystal grains or sub crystal grains having an orientation difference of nearly 2-3 deg. or larger of a crystal orientation angle difference at the evaluation point is compared on the basis of a preliminarily formed correspondence diagram or map of the crystal grain size and creep damage degrees (including damage ratios), whereby the creep damage degree is evaluated. The map is a substantial set of the correspondence diagrams between grain sizes of crystal grains or sub crystal grains generated for every predetermined stress unit and creep damage degrees. The corresponding diagram is selected from the map or interpolated on the basis of a load stress at the evaluation point, and the creep damage degree is evaluated from the selected or supplemented diagram.
