PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase separation inhibitor that can inhibit liquid detergents including fine solid particles from separating into two phases, even when they are stored for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A glycerol derivative represented by the general formula (wherein R<1> , R<2> and R<3> may be identical or different and mean a 1-3C lower alkyl, respectively) is added to a liquid detergent. In addition, known additives, for example, surfactants may be mixed.
