PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system in which the operating state of an imaging apparatus can be judged more closely than a conventional system. SOLUTION: A monitor 1 is provided in a printer 100, power consumption of the printer 100 is detected by means of a current sensor in the monitor 1, and the operating state of the printer 100 is judged based on the power consumption thereof. According to the arrangement, such an operating state as power down mode, power off state, or unplugged state, which could not be judged based on an operational signal obtained from the control section 105 of the printer 100, can be judged. |
