<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension layout utilizing a steering gear frame capable of shortening the assembling time, improving productivity, and reducing the cost by integrally forming a steering mechanism assembly and a sub frame with each other for modular assembling, and capable of securing safety by improving rigidity to prevent a jump of a steering gear motor into a cabin when a collision accident is generated. SOLUTION: This suspension layout contains a subframe containing several side members arranged in the longitudinal direction of a car body with a constant space in the cross direction and a cross member arranged in the cross direction to connect the side members to each other for fixation, and the steering mechanism assembly containing the steering gear motor separately arranged in each side member of the sub frame to move an operation rod forward and backward and a steering power transmitting means for converting the forward/ backward moving operation of the operation rod to the rotating operation of a knuckle.</p> |
