<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share one channel-switching valve in two pumps in a double syringe liquid-feed pump system used in a liquid chromatograph or the like. SOLUTION: The liquid-feeding pump system has two pumps 1 and 2 that are controlled so that the total discharge flow rate in both reaches a specific value, a valve 3 for switching a first state where an opening 13 of the first pump 1 is connected to a liquid feed destination channel 5 and an opening 23 of the second pump 2 is connected to a supply source channel 4, a second state where the opening 13 of the first pump 1 is connected to the supply source channel 4 and the opening 23 of the second pump 2 is connected to the liquid feed destination channel 5, and a third state where both the openings 13 and 23 in the first and second pumps are connected to the liquid feed destination channel 5, thus switching the valve 3 in synchronization with the suction/ discharge operation of the first and second pumps 1 and 2 and hence sharing one valve 3 in two pumps and achieving a double syringe liquid-feed pump system whose performance does not change as compared with the conventional one due to miniaturization, simplification, and reduced costs.</p> |
