PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart an entertaining element to a display device by adding a new function interlocked with a sound to the display form of the display device. SOLUTION: The map drawing apparatus is equipped with a map data reading part 1 for reading map data, a level extraction part 12 for extracting the level of a spectrum over a predetermined frequency range from an inputted sound signal, and a map data processing part 13 for processing the form (height, coloring and a shape) of the object (a building, the cloud of a background or the like) contained in the map data read by the map data reading part into map data dynamically changed in connection with the spectrum extracted by the level extraction part, and converting the processed map data to an image signal capable of being displayed on the display device. |
