METHOD FOR PRODUCING GRANULAR DETERGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a granular detergent composition having excellent solubility and dispersibility, and further having excellent productivity and powder properties. SOLUTION: The method for producing a granular detergent composition comprises producing the granular detergent composition by densifying spray dried particles and/or a powdery raw material containing at least one kind of detergent component. The spray dried particles and/or powdery raw material is densified after they have been pulverized so that the degree of breakage expressed by the following equation becomes 5-50%. Degree of breakage (%)= (MVi-MVf)/MVi}×100. Wherein, MVi is an average particle size (a mass-average particle size (μm) of the particles remaining on a sieve) of spray dried particles and/or a powdery raw material before pulverization; and MVf is an average particle size (a mass-average particle size (μm) of the particles remaining on a sieve) of spray dried particles and/or a powdery raw material after pulverization.
