PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for reaction of a simple structure capable of efficiently performing reaction with small capacity, being inexpensively manufactured, and achieving detection in a short time without using a complicated optical system for detection. SOLUTION: This cylindrical reaction container is provided with a rod-shaped carrier and a tubular housing for including the rod-shaped carrier. A probe of a solid phase is formed on the surface of a rod-shaped substrate in the rod- shaped carrier.
