PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the drawal of a transport means including a transport belt by enabling the contact and separation of the transport belt which transports a transfer material successively with and from image forming parts to the transfer positions of juxtaposed image forming parts. SOLUTION: A supporting base 69 which can be drawn out is provided with a sheet transport belt 52 spread between a driving roller 50 and a driven roller 51, supports 57 and 58 which support and turn each transfer part 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d, and eccentric circular cams 61 and 62 which turn the supports. The sheet transport belt 52 is provided so as to contact and separate from photoreceptor drums 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d corresponding to each transfer part. Locking members 65 and 66 to be locked by stationary plates 67 and 68 at the main body side of an image forming apparatus are provided at the rotary shaft of the eccentric circular cams. When the sheet transport belt separates from each photoreceptor drum, the locking of the stationary plates with the locking members is released and the supporting base can be drawn out. |
