PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method and an ink which print an image excellent in character quality and image durability without color mixing on any recording material. SOLUTION: In the method which forms an ink image by ejecting the ink on a recording material from a recording head equipped with plural nozzles capable of selectively controlling the discharge of ink droplets, it is characterized in that the ink does not contain a wax, it is a viscous matter at an ordinary temperature, becomes a liquid state to be ejected by heating to 80 deg.C or more and a surface of the recording material is thermo-controlled at 10-30 deg.C after the ink image is formed on the material until it is completed, the image after forming is cured with at least one process selected from a radiation irradiation and heat. The ink can be used in the method. |
