PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recording sheet in which a gas resistance of a recorded image obtained by ink jet recording and the sheet is closed in a file for its stock or yellowing of white paper occurs when an adhesive tape is adhered to an ink accepting layer is improved. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet comprises the ink accepting layer containing a pigment or colloidal particles or their mixture and a binder resin as main components on at least one surface of a support. The ink accepting layer contains at least one type or more of sulfur compositions represented by R<1> -Sx-R<2> (1), wherein R<1> and R<2> are each an aliphatic group modified by a hydrolytic condensable group, and x is an integer of 1 to 4. |
