PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover material 20 with a drain function for chow mein noodles cooked in a tray by pouring hot water therein which can surely, thoroughly and safely drain remaining hot water by simply tilting the same with no possibility of hot water coming out from a gap between the cover material 20 and a container 30, whose hole for drainage is easily formed, and which can be stored in a good condition for a long time. SOLUTION: In forming this cover material with a drain function, at the downstream of the cover material 20 in its opening direction, a plural lines of perforations a, a, a,... going through a paper material layer 3 are formed, many circular cuts b, b, b,... going through the lower layer of the paper material layer 3, a thermowelded resin layer 4, an aluminium layer 5, and an easy peel layer 6 are formed, and a peeling varnish layer 7 is provided excluding the inside of the cuts b, b, b,... on the bottom face side of the layer 3. On the surface side of the material layer 3, a resin film 2 superior in moisture-proof characteristic is laminated. |
