<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water heater that has a pipelike heater excelling in bending strength against vertical sway. SOLUTION: In the electric water heater 1 wherein the heater 2 with a folded bend 24 at a tip end and a flange cover 4 attached to a base end is inserted from an opening 13 formed in a peripheral wall 12 of a hot water storage tank 11, and the flange cover 4 disposed at the base end of the pipelike heater 2 is fixed to a flange surface formed at the opening 13; the folded bend 24 of the pipelike heater 2 is arranged vertically.</p> |
