PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost, and to improve the appearance by shutting a view of a steering column from a lower side of an instrument panel when tilting the steering column down. SOLUTION: A shutoff rib 41 is extended in the cross direction integrally with a steering column cover 4 and stood upward, and a lower end of the instrument panel 1 is provided with overlap parts 111 and 112 to be overlapped with the shutoff rib 41 in the fore and aft direction to shutoff the driver's eyeshot D directing a clearance between the instrument panel lower part 11 and the steering column 11. The overlap parts 111 and 112 and the shutoff rib 41 are overlapped with each other to shut off the driver's eyes directing the clearance between the instrument panel lower part 11 and the steering column 2, and an allowable space for allowing a rise of the shutoff rib 41 without causing its interference with the steering column 2 and the steering column cover 4 when tilting the steering column 2 up. |
