PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler type running device stopping soil from being pressed into a crawler body with a side wheel, the soil intervening between a side wheel and a dislocation preventing projection part, even though comprising the side wheel which is excellent in dislocation and in traveling vibration and has a rolling wheel that rolls outside in the right and left directions of the dislocation preventing projection part. SOLUTION: The crawler type running device comprises a crawler body 8 formed into an endless belt-shaped and formed of a rubber-like elastic material. The running device comprises a pair of right and left dislocation preventing projection parts 12 with interval to a crawler circumferential direction, in a center side in right and left directions of inner circumferential side D of the crawler body 8, also comprises the rolling wheel 4 on the inner circumferential side of the crawler body 8. The rolling wheel 4 comprises a center wheel 13 rolling between right and left dislocation preventing projection parts 12, and the side wheel 14 rolling outside in the right and left directions of the dislocation preventing projection part 12. The running devise is constructed such that a clearance T2 between the dislocation preventing projection part 12 which is closer to the side wheel 14 and the side wheel 14 within the right and left dislocation preventing projection parts 12 becomes wider than a clearance T1 between the dislocation preventing projection parts 12 which is far from the side wheel 14 and the center wheel 13 within the right and left dislocation preventing projection parts 12.
