PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath heating device that prevents high temperature water in a bath heat exchanger warmed by hot water in a hot water storage tank from flowing out of a circulating adapter as holding the high temperature intact in an initial stage of heating water in a bathtub (when a three-way valve connects to the bath heat exchanger). SOLUTION: The bath heating device comprises: a heating vessel with the hot water storage tank; a circulating pump for circulating water in the bathtub; the bath heat exchanger for subjecting water from the circulating pump to heat exchange with hot water in the hot water storage tank to heat it indirectly; a first bypass pipe with one end connected between the bath heat exchanger and the circulating pump in one line with the circulating pump interposed and the other end connected to the other line without the circulating pump, which lines connect the bathtub and the bath heat exchanger; the three-way valve disposed at either of connections of the first bypass pipe and both lines to change the passage of water in the bathtub to the bath heat exchanger or the first bypass pipe; and a flow detecting means disposed between the bathtub and the three-way valve to determine whether circulation is going on or not.
