PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator for sorting conveyor capable of exhausting air from indoor to outside without suffering operators from odors of garbage and thus improving the working environment. SOLUTION: The sorting conveyor 1 for sorting garbage with hands of operators in a room A is equipped with a conveyor 2 and a shoot 3. A side part of the conveyor 2 opposite to the shoot 3 is a sorting operation area A1 where the operators perform manual sorting. An air blowing means capable of blowing air to the back of operators is provided behind the sorting operation area A1 and an exhaustion means 6 for exhausting air in the room A to outside is provided at a rear part 32 of the shoot 3, which are structured so that the air blown by the air blowing means passes the operators and the conveyor 2 and is discharged from the exhaustion means 6. The air blowing means consists of an upper air blowing means 4 and a lower air blowing means 5. In addition, the exhaustion means 6 is equipped with a deodorizing means for deodorizing or eliminating odor from the air in the room A.
