PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period of discomfort by allowing a room temperature to quickly achieve a set room temperature when a difference between a set room temperature and a room temperature is over a predetermined range. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1 controlled to provide a room with the set room temperature by adjusting the power of a compressor 2 and a rotating speed of an indoor air blasting device 7 on the basis of a set operation mode, the set room temperature and the set air-flow, when the difference between the set room temperature and the room temperature is over the predetermined range on starting the operation, a temperature difference resolving mode is executed to increase the rotating speed of the indoor air blasting device 7 by one stage or more over a normal range, whereby the room temperature quickly achieve the set room temperature, and the time of discomfort is shortened.
