PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid softening agent composition imparting excellent softness and antistatic properties to a fiber product and preventing smell caused by clothes in a damp-dry state or the like by using the liquid softening agent composition as a liquid finishing agent for the fiber product, usable for the fiber product such as the clothes. SOLUTION: This liquid softening agent composition contains (a) an amine compound containing at least one ester group and one to three long-chain alkyl groups or long-chain alkenyl groups in the molecule, a neutralized salt thereof, a quaternized product thereof or a mixture thereof, (b) a betaine containing at least one ester group or amide group, and one or two long-chain alkyl groups or long-chain alkenyl groups in the molecule, or a mixture thereof, and (c) a betaine not containing the long-chain alkyl group or long-chain alkenyl group, regulated so that the ratio of the component (a)/ (b)+(c)} is 2-100 (by weight).
