PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method of a floor embedded drain funnel allowing the removal of the old floor embedded drain funnel without damaging reinforcements, piping, or the like. SOLUTION: A main shaft 30 is rotatably disposed on the center axis of the drain funnel 12. A cutting tool holder 40 holding a cutting tool 42 is liftably mounted to the main shaft 30, and the main shaft 30 is rotationally driven by a motor 32. The cutting tool holder 42 thereby descends gradually while rotating and repeats cutting a large diameter part 14 of the drain funnel 12 over the whole periphery until it is in a thin skin state. As for a small diameter part 18, the cutting tool holder 42 is replaced with a small-diameter cutting tool holder 60 to repeat cutting over the whole periphery in the same way until it is in a thin skin state. After cutting, the left thin skins 14a, 18a are taken off and removed with a chisel and a hammer or the like.
