PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method for a building floor plan with many variations of planning in design, and to provide a building. SOLUTION: In this design method for the building floor plan, the floor plan is designed by arranging plural kinds of basic sections 3a-3d respectively provided with rooms ab with various equipment q2, in floor regions 2, 20 constituting one floor of the building and formed in rectangular shape from the top view constituted by arranging a plurality of basic regions 1 of the same square shape from the top view. Plural kinds of basic sections 3a-3d are respectively formed corresponding to the size of the basic regions 1 of the floor regions 2, 20, and these basic sections 3a-3d are combined and arranged in the floor regions 2, 20. The problem is solved using such a design method for the building floor plan.
