PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preparing elevator installation drawing capable of preparing an elevator installation drawing in a short time by obtaining data required for preparing the installation drawing after modification of an elevator through a communication network. SOLUTION: This system 1 for preparing elevator installation drawing comprises a dimension measuring device 4 for measuring the internal dimensions of an elevator 2 to be modified in a hoistway and transmitting the measured data through the communication network, a data base device 5 for storing installation drawing preparing information necessary for preparing installation drawings and transmitting the installation drawing preparing information through the communication network, and an installation drawing preparing terminal 6 for obtaining the installation drawing preparing information and the dimension data through the communication network and preparing the installation drawing of the elevator 2 to be modified after modification.
