PURPOSE: An electronic key for emergency authentication, a system for opening and shutting emergency door, and a method for emergency authentication using the same are provided to open and shut the door in accordance with a result of a user authentication by providing a power source in an electronic key, operating an emergency control unit using the power source, executing a user authenticating procedure in the electronic key using fingerprint information inputted through the emergency control unit and the electronic key, and using the power source in the electronic key. CONSTITUTION: Emergency fingerprint information or reference information of an electronic key for an emergency approval is stored in an emergency control unit(202,204). An insertion of the electronic key for an emergency approval or an external object is sensed and a sensing result is notified to a normal authentication unit(206). If the normal authentication unit is operated normally, various kinds of warning messages are output(208). If the normal authentication unit is operated abnormally or the normal authentication unit does not respond to the notice, the emergency control unit is operated using a power source of the electronic key for an emergency approval, and a door is opened or shut using the electronic key for an emergency approval(300).
