PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solubilizing mushrooms comprising mixing one species of the mushrooms alone or two or more species thereof, dipping the resultant mushrooms in honey alone or a honey mixture comprising an adequate amount of one or more kinds of polyhydric alcohols or sugar alcohols approved as a food additive added thereto, directly allowing the obtained dipped mushrooms to stand or adding water and allowing the resultant mushrooms to stand or, as necessary, suitably heating and/or stirring the resultant mushrooms and a dissolved solution of the mushrooms obtained by the method so as to solubilize the slightly digestible mushrooms and sufficiently exhibit biological response modifier (BRM) like actions possessed by the mushrooms in vivo. SOLUTION: The mushrooms are solubilized by dipping the mushrooms in the honey, directly allowing the dipped mushrooms to stand or adding water or, as necessary, suitably heating and/or stirring the resultant mushrooms. Thereby, since the slightly digestible mushrooms are solubilized, BRM like actions possessed by the mushrooms can effectively be exhibited in vivo even when a small amount thereof is ingested. |
