PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking pot adaptive to an electromagnetic induction heater in which a magnetic metal plate is strongly joined to a pot main body back bottom surface and infiltration of water content between the main body back bottom surface and the magnetic metal plate is prevented, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: As for a cooker main body made of an aluminum alloy, the magnetic metal plate where a plurality of through-holes are dispersedly formed is piled up on a back bottom surface of a pot main body, an annular projected line part surrounding an outer peripheral end face of the magnetic metal plate on the entire periphery at a height larger than thickness of the metal plate and a plurality of projections projected through the respective through-holes at the height larger than the thickness of the metal plate are provided on the back bottom surface integrally with the pot main body. As for the cooking pot adaptive to the electromagnetic induction heater, the annular projected line part and the projections are crushed by pressurizing work and an outer peripheral edge of the magnetic metal plate and respective through-hole peripheral edges are tightly caulked. |
