PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face shaving device which retains smoothness of shave for a long period of time, reduces skin troubles, and results in a more beautiful skin. SOLUTION: The face shaving device 1 of an oscillating type is equipped with at least one blade 2, a skin-contacting surface 3 which makes contact with the skin while shaving the face with the blade 2, and a means 4 to apply oscillations to the blade 2 and/or the skin-contacting surface 3.
