PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope cover which can be worn on an endoscope side by prescribed fitting without requiring a special device for wearing and without spraying a power lubricant by impregnating the endoscope cover with a lubricant and forming a coating film on its outer peripheral surface. SOLUTION: This endoscope cover 14 is formed by impregnating a rubber material 13 which a silicone oil. The cover is made more easily slippage by the silicone oil and therefore the wearing of the endoscope cover 14 on an endoscope insertion portion is made easier. The coating film 17 of 'Teflon (R)' is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the endoscope cover 14. The slip of the endoscope cover 14 to the celom is improved by the coating film 17. Further, the oozing out of the lubricant with which the cover is impregnated is prevented by the coating film 17 and the oozing out of the lubricant into the celom is prevented.
