PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return to origin mechanism of a simple composition smoothly and positively returning mutual positional deviation between a body and a base caused by a compliance function to an origin. SOLUTION: In the compliance unit 1A, a compliance mechanism 4A is interposed between the body 2A and the base 3A, and it is provided with the return to origin mechanism returning the mutual positional deviation between the body and the base caused by the compliance mechanism to an origin position. The return to origin mechanism is composed of a magnet 15A provided on the body or the base, and a member 21A to be attracted provided so as to move with another of the body or the base and returned to the origin position by magnetic attraction of the magnet.
