PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaper with excellent moisture or water absorbency, excellent in the heating speed, heating temperature and hold of the heating when the moisture or water is absorbed. SOLUTION: A short fiber nonwoven fabric with high moisture absorbent minute particles and/or span bond is used at least in a part or the whole of the moisture/water absorbing exothermic diaper, and the maximum temperature rise at the time of moisture and/or water absorption in the diaper is at least 3 deg.C. The moisture/water absorbing exothermic diaper is further characterized by the heat generation at the time of moisture absorption held for at least 30 minutes and/or the heat generation at the time of water absorption held for at least one minute.
