SOLUTION: In a mask impossible interrupting process, a CPU for a discharge control checks a detection maintaining period, and the detection signals of a prize ball-counting switch and a ball-renting counting switch. When the ball-renting counting switch is turned on, the content of a ball-renting quantity memory is subtracted by one. When a power source interruption signal is generated due to an instant breakage or the like of the power source, a return signal is fed to a discharge board under a stand-by state after the generation of the power source interruption signal. Then, the CPU for the discharge control is reset, and a main process is started. The discharge control returns to a state at the time of the generation of the power source interruption signal by a discharge state recovering process. The discharge control is continued from that state. Therefore, non-discharge number of the game medium can be accurately grasped, and the control can be prevented from having troubles even when the instant breakage or the like of the power source is generated.
