PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game mat helping improve socialities such as a sense of morality and cooperativeness by providing a function for improving the intellect and emotion of a baby on a rug or a mat. SOLUTION: A pattern 2a used for a game is displayed on the surface of a game mat 1. A plurality of mat bodies 1a form a set of mat bodies and are arranged in the form of a plane. Divisions 2a of the pattern used for a game may be displayed on the surfaces of the mat bodies. Connecting mechanisms 3 interconnecting the plurality of mat bodies at the peripheries may be provided. The connecting mechanisms may be irregularities 3a and 3b formed at the peripheries of the mat bodies. The mat bodies may have lower layer portions 4 installed on a floor, intermediate portions 5 having a cushioning property and surface layer portions 6 on which a pattern used for a game is displayed. Subtle irregularities 6a may be formed on the surface of the surface layer portions.
