PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount an umbrella stand to a seat by afterward addition. SOLUTION: The umbrella stand comprises both a fixing rod 12 to be mounted to a fixing bolt 5 of a seat part 6 of a seat 1 and a movable rod 13 slidably inserted in the fixing rod 12. The fixing rod 12 is provided with a mounting piece 15 in which a through hole 17 for the bolt 5 for fixing the seat part 6 of the seat 1 is opened. An end part of the movable rod 13 is provided with a tube part 20 for attaching an umbrella, and the movable rod 13 is biased in such a way as to be inserted in the fixing rod 12 and contracted.
