PURPOSE: Provided are an ascorbic acid derivative bound with TAT peptide, its preparation method and a cosmetic composition for skin whitening comprising the same. The ascorbic acid derivative has excellent solubility in water and organic solvents, high stability and excellent skin permeability. Therefore, the skin whitening composition has long lasting whitening effect. CONSTITUTION: The ascorbic acid derivative is represented by the formula(1a) or (1b), wherein£|Tat is cell permeable Tat peptide, wherein R is selected from the group consisting of side chains of glutamine, lysine and arginine, and n is an integer of 4-12. The skin whitening composition characteristically contains the ascorbic acid derivative as an active ingredient.
