PURPOSE: An electrolyte for an Al electrolytic capacitor, which has a sufficient withstanding voltage and improved conductivity, is provided to be used in high-ripple small-size products and to extend the ranges of temperature and use time due to its stable characteristics at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte for an Al electrolytic capacitor is produced by mixing 74.5% of ethylene glycol, 8% of ammonium-8-penyl-8 methoxyl nonan carboxylate, 5% of ammonium sebacate and 0.5% of poly diethylene glycol/trimethylolpropane-alt-adipic acid. The ethylene glycol is produced by mixing a side chain dibasic acid, a straight chain dibasic acid and poly diethylene glycol/trimethylolpropane-alt adipic acid. The electrolyte, which is produced by adding a side chain dibasic acid and a straight chain dibasic acid or a salt thereof to an ethylene glycol solvent in a particular mixing ratio, has improved solubility and characteristics at a high temperature and superior conductivity. |
