PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam irradiator capable of being safely operated by a general user by applying a double and treble safety measure to a control circuit for emitting laser beam. SOLUTION: A head part H is provided to the front of the laser bean irradiator in a projected state and a push switch S4 is attached to the side surface thereof. The head part H has an opening at its center to permit the insertion of a spherical lens 31 and a front cylinder 32 of which the leading end must be brought into contact with the skin is integrally attached to the outer periphery of the spherical lens 31. A cylindrical electrode 33, of which the leading end is projected forwardly from the end surface of the opening, is embedded in the leading end of the front cylinder 32. A heat sink 34 is attached to the head part behind the spherical lens 31 and a through-hole is bored in the axial center of the heat sink and a semiconductor laser diode 35 is injected into the through-hole up to the deep part thereof. Further, a fan 36 for cooling the heat sink 34 is arranged behind the semiconductor laser diode 35. |
